Rural Skills ConnectFunded by Regional Development Victoria, this 12 month project is delivered across Mildura and Swan Hill Rural City Councils and the Buloke Shire Council commencing on the 30th September 2008.  

Mildura Rural City Council (via Mildura Development Corporation) are the auspicing body and host the project manager, Majella Ballard. 

The initiative will seek to utilise the transferable skills of the region's farm workers to meet rural industry skill gaps and employment requirements.  Identified as areas for opportunity of employment include (but are not limited to): welding, truck driving, trades, meat processing, accounting, health, childcare and hospitality.
